Personal
service, quality work and a depth of experience sets Rayco
apart.
We've been doing auto interiors, convertible tops, seat repair, carpets, headliners,
vinyl roofs, door panels—you name it—for more than
thirty years. We work with the best fabric, vinyl, and
leather suppliers in the industry. We know precisely how to
fit your car with the finest material available.
Headliners
It's the ceiling on the inside of
your car, the part of your car's trim that finishes the roof panel
while providing heat and noise insulation. In most modern cars
the headliner is a molded fiberboard with insulation behind it and a
finished vinyl or fabric surface that matches your interior.
Headliners
may begin to droop or discolor within just a few years. There
are many reasons — a bad batch of
material, adhesive failure, breakdown of insulation due to
ultraviolet radiation, and so on. Or the headliner may have
been torn by your children, a load you were carrying, or an
accident. Whatever the reason, the repair is the same: replace
the headliner.
To do this we carefully remove the old material and meticulously
clean off all the degraded insulation, fabric, and glue. Then
we precisely install a new headliner in your choice of materials,
anything from the original look to the most outrageous pattern you
can dream up. Often our headliners are superior to the
original, lasting for many, many years.
Convertible Tops & Vinyl Tops
In our area it is unusual for a
vinyl roof or convertible top to look good for more than six or
eight years. You know the
problems—cracks, leaks, rust.
On
convertible tops the rear window fogs up, threads unravel, and the
seams start to split.

The mechanical components of a
powered convertible top—the motors, pumps,
and linkages—need maintenance and refurbishing as well. And
vinyl car tops have their own complications. Vinyl tops
are nowhere near as durable as steel. Heat / cold cycles,
ultraviolet, rain, salt, carwashes, all take their toll. Corrosion may be
found around windows and trim pieces. Water may percolate
beneath the vinyl and rust the underlying sheet metal.
The craftsmen at Rayco Automotive know what to expect when you bring
your convertible or vinyl top to us. We have make hundreds of
car tops look like new. Our tools, techniques, experience, and
supplies guarantee pleasing results for your project.

Power seats.
In addition to fore and aft adjustments, power seats can
raised, lowered, or tilted to suit the
driver and/or passenger. Many power seats allow occupants to
adjust the seat lumbar or seatback recline, all at the push
of a button or flick of a switch. Some cars also have memories, which can recall different
adjustments of the seat by pressing a button. Most
power seats in newer cars are either six-way or eight-way.
When yours need repair, give us a ring.

Power Door Locks. Power door locks, also called electric door locks or central locking systems, allow the
driver or front passenger to simultaneously lock or unlock all
the doors of your car or truck by pressing a button or flipping a
switch. Power door locks were introduced on the luxury
Packard in 1956.
Today, nearly every model of car in every class offers this
feature as as an option if it isn't stardard equipment.
Also common on modern cars are locks that activate
automatically when the car is put into gear or reaches a
certain speed. Like power seats, these complex electrical
systems are failure-prone. And, although they won't
leave you stranded when they break, they can be a real source
of annoyance. Another source of annoyance are shops that
don't have experience or training in the repair of complicated
systems like these. We don't have that problem
here at Rayco Automotive — we fix power door locks and power
seats routinely. |

Dashboard Repair / Replacement. When
your dash begins to fade and crack, the best fix is to
replace it with a new one. Yes, we can get dashboards
for just about any car ever made. However, a more
cost-effective solution might be to install a dash cap.
A dash cap is a molded plastic cover having the exact shape
of your original dash. It installs over your old
dashboard completely covering any crack, rips, gouges, and
so on. Our dash caps are a permanent solution for your
damaged dash. Most OEM colors are available. An
upgrade like this really makes a huge improvement for not a
lot of money. For more information, give us a call
